This last week, I had the opportunity to write a guest post for Defying Depravity. If you haven't already gone over and checked her blog out, Lauren is great friend who does an awesome job running it! It's got some great articles you should definitely check out. Anyhow, thanks, Lauren! Here's a link to the article.

Hey! Just got around to reading that post! It was so good and inspiring! Thanks for writing and sharing! It was a much needed reminder! I pray that my own heart would be broken for my suffering brothers and sisters in Christ!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement! Knowing people are reading them helps me keep writing!
DeleteThat's a powerful post Taylor. I do Too, believe that a great majority of Christians in the Americas struggle with apathy. I know it is one of the hardest things I struggle with! And it's so easy for us today to ignore and to distract ourselves from the real problems around us, and the world. I hope that our generation will be the ones to change that... And it will be hard considering, ours is the generation with so many distractions and entertainments at our fingertips...
ReplyDeleteThanks, Abby! It's awesome to know that I'm not the only one who feels this way! :) I too hope our generation is the one to change that, although I highly doubt it. I think this generation will continue like all others, with scattered individuals here and there who rebel against the general apathy, while the majority of people (Christians included) continue along a path of comfort and ease. I just hope we're one of the rebels!
